The best nude beaches in North America

Countries in North America, namely the United States, Mexico and Canada are not very supportive of people practicing public nudity. While most beaches in Europe have some public nudity allowed, things are very different in the North American continent. However, that doesn't mean that you cannot hang out on the beach naked here, it's just that not every beach allows this.

Here is a list of a few beaches in this continent that allow public nudity and are certainly the best places for nudists in North America.

UFO beach, South Padre Island, Texas: This beach isn't officially clothing-options but have a look around and you'd observe that a few miles north of the main strip are occupied with nudists.

Lighthouse Beach, Islip, New York: The beach is part of the Fire Island National Seashore and is the best place to escape from the buzz of the busy city. Although it isn't considered entirely nude, it is still one of the best topless beaches in the continent.
Gunnison Beach, Middletown, New Jersey: This is certainly the best nude beach on the East coast of the United States of America. Situated just a few miles from New York, you'd find a lot of naked sunbathers and nudists here.

Collins beach, Sauvie Island, Oregon: This is one of the very few non-coastal beaches in the United States, which attracts a lot of nudists from America and across the globe. As a matter of fact, over 75 percent people visiting this beach prefer to go nude.

Little Beach, Maui, Hawaii: How could we forget Hawaii while speaking of naked beaches? Swimming, surfing, bodysurfing, Whale watching and nude sunbathing are just a few activities you'd find people engaging in here. This beach has attracted nudists from several decades and would certainly continue to do so in the future as well.

The Wreck Beach, Vancouver, BC, Canada: While you wouldn't be able to find a lot of nudist beaches in this part of the world, owing to adverse climatic conditions for a major part of the year, this beach attracts a lot of nudists from Canada as well as America. You could also participate in various events organized at the beach.
Hanlan's point on Toronto Islands: This is one of the few beaches in Canada where full nudity is allowed. In 2002, this beach was officially recognized as a clothing-optional beach in Toronto. Note that the entire beach isn't open to nudists and it's just one section of the beach where you can actually hang around cloth-free.

Hidden Beach Resort, Kantenah, Mexico:
One of the most popular beach resorts of Mexico, Au Naturel Club is an uptown and luxurious resort to spend an extended weekend.

Planning a vacation where you can spend some time clothing-free? Consider the options mentioned above with your nudist partner!
